# Provider Mission #8 - Get the Verification Badge

# Introduction

In this mission, we will guide you on how to get verified on OpenAPIHub. It simply takes the following steps:

You need to generate your API Portal on OpenAPIHub before using the Provider Admin Portal. Please follow Become a Provider and Generate API Portals to generate your API Portal.

# Key Steps

  1. Apply via Application Link or Apply via Provider Admin Portal

  2. Once your verification request is approved, you can switch on the verification badge in the Provider Admin Portal (opens new window). Select Portal Setting from the sidebar, click Verification and turn on "Show Verification Badge"

# Step-by-step Guide

There are two ways of making a portal verification request, you may either 1. Apply via application link or 2. Apply via Provider Admin Portal.

You can simply make the request by filling in this form (opens new window).

# Apply via Provider Admin Portal

  1. Log into your API Portal. For more details, visit How to Find My API Portals?
  2. Click Portal Setting > Verification on the sidebar.
  3. Then click "Request Verification".
  4. You will see an application form for the verification request, fill in the form to apply.

You may find the Portal ID in Provider Profile, for more details, please refer to How to Find My Portal ID and Developer ID?

Upon receiving your application, we will get back to you via email to notify you on the result.

  1. Once your verification request is approved, you can switch on the verification badge in the Provider Admin Portal (opens new window). Select Portal Setting from the sidebar, click Verification and turn on "Show Verification Badge"

Congratulation! You have successfully got verified. The verification badge lets developers know that your API Portal is verified by OpenAPIHub. Now, you have completed Provider Mission #8, your mission progress can be found in the Provider Admin Portal (opens new window).
